Opportunities:

At CCC, we are creating an opportunity for existing human service organizations with limited funds to reach the underserved poor in northeast Horry County.
CRM’s Community Care Center’s aim is to partner with all willing social service agencies to make comprehensive services available to the low-income families in this underserved area. We do this – simply and economically - by providing all participating agencies with use of rent-free office space at the CCC facility - on a time-share basis - to deliver their services.
 Examples of organizations who will be invited to participate, and the services they may be able to provide at the Community Care Center are:

CHDO (Community Housing Development Org) Counseling Program – who can provide education to low-income individuals to qualify for ownership of affordable housing.

Horry County Schools – who will be encouraged to provide educational opportunities to the working poor, such as GED classes, literacy classes, ESL classes, and job skills training at the Community Care Center.

Counselors in private practice – will be asked to provide volunteer counseling monthly to individuals and families who could benefit from help making practical decisions.

Red Cross – who may use the facility for providing their assistance to families that are victims of fire or other disasters.

Horry County Health Dept – who may use the CCC facility to provide monthly women’s health clinics and a well baby clinics.

Horry County Social Services Dept – who may use the facility to conduct client interviews, to help provide directory assistants  in doing the  paper work for food
