The Story of Beautiful gate comes from Acts 3:1-10

 God revealed this scripture to me as I searched for his purpose     
  In my life. Once again he assured me that he was our only hope
 of lasting healing.
 
  Money is a bartering tool, but God is our eternal source,
 basically from this passage, the name; Beautiful Gate was given
 to our shelter for Women and Children.

  The founder, Gwen Woody received this vision to go forward
  with the creation of Beautiful Gate.
